About us

The idea of PACO System was born in 2021 by the founders of the Gaudiosa Esgrima Histórica school, after researching about the scabbarbs and corroborating that its use had been lost in time. There began a process of study that has led us to learn and grow in this discipline. The name comes from a play on words that was forged at the time when the first version of the PACO was shaped, as it serves to PACOlgar the sword, thus baptizing our project with the name of PACO System.

PACO System is born from the extensive experience and practice of Ancient Fencing for more than a decade. Being currently fencing students allows us to check in situ the feasibility of our project. The goal is to renew the idea of the scabbarb to facilitate training and competition.
